I'll be competing in the 2017 Hydrogarden Weston Beach Race on Sunday 15th October. It's billed as the biggest, baddest and maddest event on the UK off-road calendar. Over 500 professional and amateur riders are racing together, on the toughest sand track in the world  - in a gruelling 3 hour endurance race. 

This is like nothing I have ever done before and is a far cry from the 20 minute motocross races that I'm used to. 

I'm doing this to raise money for Ashbourne Playaway, as I have seen first hand the amazing job they do. Not only do they provide children with fun, stimulating days out... this in turn provides parents/carers with much needed respite.

My nephew Joshua has been on many of these trips... and I would like to smash my fundraising target, to help towards sending him and many others on many more trips!
