As a parent of 2 healthy kids, it is with great sadness to see there are still so many children across the globe who suffer from preventable illnesses and in some tragic cases, death. If you are able to spare any financial support in these tough economic times, please could you sponsor me as I attempt to complete the 2023 Great North Run and raise funds for the Save the Children and GSK partnership. As well as raising vital funds for Save the Children, it 'should' help in my efforts to get fitter in my (relatively) old age!!

GSK and Save the Children united in 2013 to reduce preventable deaths and illness of children under the age of five. More than five million children under the age of five die each year. But many of these deaths could be prevented by vaccinations, trained health care workers, correct diagnosis, and affordable treatment. Our innovative partnership combines Save the Children's vast experience in maternal, newborn, and child health in communities around the world and GSKs research and expertise to help reduce preventable deaths and illness in young children.
