I'm running the London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation

London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
I am running the 2022 London Marathon for a very personal reason.
On 23rd November 1990, my dad David Ernest Hatherell died from a heart attack when he was just 43 years old. I was only 10.
A lifetime later, as I myself turn 43 I want to do something positive by running the marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation to honour my dad, a good man that shaped my life in immeasurable ways, but couldn't be with us to see it.
No amount you can donate is too small, and every penny will help fund lifesaving research into cutting-edge research with the power to rebuild, regrow and repair damaged heart tissue and blood vessels.
Your donation, quite simply, is going to help improve and save the lives of people living with heart and circulatory disease, such as heart failure so less families are affected by this horrible, yet preventable disease ❤️
