Help us raise £6.8 million to build a specialist MND (Motor Neurone Disease) Care Centre in Leeds, to give people living with MND the best quality of life.

Story

I am sure many if not all of you recognize
the image above from the inaugural Leeds Marathon in 2023.

Kevin Sinfield carrying his friend and former Leeds
Rhinos teammate MND sufferer Rob Burrow over the finish line after pushing him 26.2miles
around Leeds.

Inspired by this – although I’ll struggle to carry
myself over the finish line,
On the 12th
May, I am participating in  The Leeds
Marathon
on behalf of Leeds Hospitals Charity to raise valuable funds
towards
a specialist MND
(Motor Neurone Disease) Care Centre in Leeds, to give people living with MND
the best quality of life.

My personal
Target is £500 of the £6.8million the charity needs to build this center.

A marathon is not
only 26.2 miles or 42.2 kilometers but for me 12-16 weeks of training just to
be able to complete let alone have any chance of finishing in the top 2000-3000
positions , it’s no easy event or task to complete.

Any donations towards
my individual target will be greatly appreciated by myself and the charity.
