The Madeley White Star Yellow Under 11s football team look to support a charity each year. Whilst reaching out for team sponsorship for the 2021/22 season, one of the players family members agreed to sponsor the team in memory of a family member Doreen Nicholls who battled Dementia. We therefore thought it fitting to support the Alzheimers Charity. 

This year we have decided to 'Walk to Wembley' . We will walk the equivalent kilometres from our home ground in Madeley to the Wembley Stadium, North London on the 30th April 2022. We will do this as a team, with friends and family supporting the event to walk, run, dribble or crawl laps of our training ground which is  equivalent of walking 212km, the distance to Wembley. We'd like to aim to get £500 through sponsorship and other means.

The football team have the forget me not as a sponsorship logo on the football strip to remember all of those who struggle with Alzheimers and Dementia.
