Story

Having watched the London Marathon for years, now it's my time to take part - but I will not lie, my legs don't feel as "sporty" as they did 25 years ago!

I am really looking forward to making a difference for the 2 fishing charities supported by The Countryside Alliance Foundation - Castaway and Fishing for Schools, both amazing charities which involve our amazing waterways in rural areas.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and I am sure will keep me going at the later stages of the race!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. About the campaign

About the charity

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.
