The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Accommodation and train tickets for London booked. It's getting close now. I've upped my training and completed a cheeky 10 mile run on Sunday. 1hour 30. Not too shabby!

Warrington 10k done in 50:03. Not the quickest, but it's a start. Going to look at some half marathons later in the year.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running the London Marathon is something I have always wanted to do. In July 2010 I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament and was unable to walk properly let alone run.  In December 2010 I underwent reconstructive surgery to repair my busted right knee.

Since then I have set myself goals to get back to full fitness and my next goal is to complete the London Marathon in 2013.

I have recently completed the Run the Bridge 2012, which was an 8km run from Runcorn to Hale Village and my next organised run is at the end of June in the Warrington 10km road race.

I aim to build up to half marathons by the end of summer and hopefully complete a marathon by the end of the year in preparation for the London Marathon.
