Hampshire Hospitals Charity is the charity supporting patients, staff and volunteers at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust across Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Alton hospitals.

Story

Dear friends and supporters. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Any donations you make will go to the Hampshire Hospice Appeal 4656

Viv, my wife, has now had four years of treatment for her ovarian cancer, and will require regular courses of chemotherapy for the rest of her life. Whatever the coming months and years hold for her we want to do our bit to help set up the Winchester Hospice for our community. It is so vitally and urgently needed for bringing comfort, relief and palliative care to so many.

On Friday May 31st I shall walk along the southwest coastal path from Weymouth to Worth Matravers (25 miles). The next day I will continue eastwards to Swanage and Ballard Point, turn inland and walk along the Purbeck Ridge to Corfe Castle and then make my way to Wareham. I would be immensely grateful to you for any donation to this excellent cause. It will inspire me and add to my determination to get to Wareham in good shape and good heart, if a bit footsore and leg-weary.
