I am inviting you to play a part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...to encourage me running the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Marathon to support Parents Against Child Exploitation (PACE). 

Through my work, everyday I see abuse in all its forms, and the damage it does to children. All abuse is wrong and must be stopped. Criminal and Sexual Exploitation of children, is, I believe, one of the hardest forms of abuse to stop, as the threat is outside the family and young people often don't recognise they are being abused and placed at serious risk of harm. I am reading new cases of this everyday. 

Many charities are working to support those affected by abuse but PACE is a small charity that is having a big impact and growing its work in Merseyside. I want PACE's work to expand further, supporting more parents and reaching young people directly within school, helping them to recognise the danger signs of abuse and to seek help at the earliest opportunity.
