I'm just about to turn 40; I'm somewhat heavier and less fit than I would have liked to have been, despite my best of intentions when I signed up for this!

I've been working with the Conservation Volunteers for a couple of years now and seeing the sorts of people we engage with and the improvements we make to communities and places will hopefully motivate me on the day and make up for my terrible lack of race preparation.
