Losing your sight can be really frightening. Berkshire Vision provide vital emotional and practical support, and adapted sports and activities to over 1500 blind and visually impaired children and adults in Berkshire. We help reduce loneliness and isolation and build confidence and independence.

Story

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes aged 4 years old. In my twenties, both of my retinas became detached due to diabetic retinopathy, leading to complete blindness in one eye.

Its been a rollercoaster of emotions for me over the years and my self esteem was completely shattered, but I am now completely inspired by our members at Berkshire Vision - its a privilege to support such amazing people who have rebuilt their lives and are living to the fullest.

I now play cricket and golf and took part in the Sky Dive for Berkshire Vision in 2018.  The experience was incredible and I am really excited to be taking part again in September 2019!

Please join us or donate to Berkshire Vision and help us help more visually impaired adults and children live their lives to the full too!

Thank you!
