In September, I will be embarking on a 354 mile cycling challenge over 4 days called The Wild Atlantic Challenge in aid of Hope Against Cancer. The route covers some spectacular but brutal coastal scenery in Southern Ireland . The fourth day of the challenge sees us taking on the 107 miles of the world famous Ring of Kerry. 

As well as battling the challenge of the sheer distance involved, there is also the small matter of 16508 feet of climbing to contend with as we make our way up some of the most famous passes in Ireland.

Cancer is a disease that has or will affect many of us throughout our lives, either personally or through family, friends and colleagues. 

Hope Against Cancer's focus is to beat cancer rather than manage the consequences. They prioritise research for early detection, treatment and prevention of cancer.

It's going to be a real challenge for me to complete this event and to ensure that is possible, I am fully committed to a training 

Please commit as much or as little as you can in aid of this great charity or at the very worst just to see me suffer.
