In 2015 my Nan like many lost her fight with cancer. It was a terrible time for myself and my family, she was a wonderful woman and is sadly missed. 

I’ve applied for the last 5 marathons but have been unsuccessful, however I have been accepted this year and would love to take this opportunity to run and raise some money to help diagnose and treat ovarian cancer. 

I certainly won’t win the marathon but I’m hoping to get round in a reasonable time and not get overtaken by a guy running dressed as a pot noodle :-)
