Me and Owen have been good friends for the last 12 years since secondary school.

He was diagnoised with Diabetes soon after leaving school, and after just a few years his illness started to affect his everyday life. It seemed that in no time at all he shedded alot of weight and began to have problems with his eyes, kidneys, skin, and general mobility.

After about 2 years of braving these conditions he suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on the 19/04/2012.

Ive choosen Diabetes UK as my chairty as this was the root cause of all his illnesses. This charity does alot of good work to help people like Owen.
