Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2019 · 4 August 2019 ·

Support our Ride London Invictus Games Foundation team in their challenge to complete the 100, 46 and 19 mile cycle through London. We use the power of sport to inspire recovery for wounded, injured and sick military service personnel and veterans.

Story

To see what this money is for search Invictus trials 2019 or go to BBC I player to catch the highlights of this week and see the fantastic people this is for.

Piped at the post for a podium spot during the TT at the Invictus Trials in Sheffield achieving 4th place. This being 0.8miles my focus now shifts to the 100 miles around London for this amazing cause.

Having been diagnosed with Bladder cancer in 2017 I have had multiple recurrences but continue to fight on.

I discovered my eligibility to compete at Invictus early in 2018 and was proud to be selected as a reserve for Sydney unfortunately I did not get to travel but gained so much from the training and team ethos’s of all involved it was very humbling.

This is my way to give back to the foundation whos work is getting harder. A wounded, injured or sick service person is still fighting their war long after the battle is over or the headlines are chip wrappers.

Thank you for reading every penny will help one of the guys or girls lead a better quality of life or even save them from themselves.
