Story

Please go here to support Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/richard-hardcastle5

For over 50 years, one-size-fits-all treatments have simply masked the symptoms of Parkinson's - muscle stiffness, tremor, slow movement and troublesome non-motor problems. Currently there’s no cure and no way to stop it from getting any worse.

The University of Sheffield is finding a new way forward for patients, treating the root causes rather than just the symptoms. And we've already identified compounds that have the potential to slow its progression.

Your support will help to accelerate this ground-breaking work!

From 11th-13th September, our team will be cycling 171 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington to support two great medical causes with global reach -

Parkinson's Research @ the University of Sheffield

Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, Sheffield

We're facing rides of 60+ miles for both the first two days and 40+ miles on Day 3. It definitely won't be a walk in the park and every pound donated helps these fantastic causes. Please help us smash our targets!
