The Seven 7's Challenge for MS Society · 1 July 2021

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

The Seven 7’s Challenge for MS Society

I am going to try and take on 7 Half Marathons over 7 days, finishing on 7/7 and try to raise £777. Hence the name, the Seven 7’s Challenge.

With Covid-19 causing havoc for running events for a year or so now, I want to set myself the goal of taking on this challenge to raise much needed funds for The MS Society, a charity very close to my heart.

My mother was diagnosed with MS roughly 14 years ago and in that time has dealt with it head on, never once moaning about how hard days can get without any notice.

This challenge will be the biggest I’ve ever done physically and would really appreciate any support that anyone can give!

If you would like to join me on one of the runs, and help me raise money, I would love to have some company on these runs to help push me on and get me through it. Of course, making sure we abide by the government guidelines at the time.

I intend to organise a virtual raffle as well to help boost the fund raising effort. If you own, or know of any companies that could possibly donate a prize for this, please let me know.
With Coronavirus causing issues across all business sectors I fully understand that this is a big ask.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and really do appreciate any donation you can make, however small that may be.
