Story
This will be the third time that i have completed this ride (well hopefully completed!!). I first saw "Wouldn't change a thing charity" when they won a Pride Of Britain Award. A really inspiring group of people who have set about changing perceptions of Downs Syndrome.
My sister Sally, who sadly passed away nearly 20 years ago, was born with Down Syndrome, public perception at the time was nowhere near where it is today and at times my parents struggled. I am delighted to see that the world has changed for the better and this is due to the efforts of many including this charity but also comes from a much more understanding society.
So i will be attempting the 56 mile ride, i have promised to cover up the Lycra, no need to scare people! If you could spare a few pounds to sponsor me i'm sure the charity would be extremely grateful.
Many thanks
