A bike ride with a difference!!

 

To raise money for the LULI Schneider nominated charity – Teenage Cancer Trust, there is a team of 10 crazy men taking on the C2C cycle challenge. 

The team consists of Richard Irwin, Matthew Baynes, David Terry, Valters Tone, Benoit Grosseuvre , Lee Higgins, Loyd Davies, Damian Wells plus 2 and they will be supported by Dale Wrangles who is taking on the role of support driver.

The C2C challenge starts on Friday, 13 September in Whitehaven and the guys will cover approx 150 miles in 3 days hopefully finishing in one piece on Sunday, 15 September in Tynemouth.

 

The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.  They know what they need is to be treated together, by teenage cancer experts, in an environment tailored for them.

 

The charity develops specialist units within NHS hospitals that do just this. They want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live.
