Story
Day 27......feeling it now!
you know the hardest thing about this challenge isn't the 5k it's more often than not fitting it in to ones day.....today I am on day 20 of 50....so for 20 straight days I have completed 5k or more EVERY day..... I have 30 more days left! But this challenge is nothing when you see what girls with Rett go through every day of their lives.....so please if you can spare a couple of pounds....you would be helping as nearly every penny from every one of your pounds goes straight to research. happy Easter folks. :)
What am I doing?
I am, along with a group of supporters for Reverse Rett, am undertaking the 5x50 challenge which involves all of us running, cycling, swimming, walking a minimum of 5km a day every day for 50 straights days, starting from Sunday 30th March 2014.
My aim during the 5x50 is to cycle on the road for most of this, and where necessary using my indoor bike or I’ll be walking.

Why I am doing it?
Most of you know my good friend and colleague Greg Mckeague and are aware that his daughter Molly suffers daily from Rett Syndrome; since being diagnosed at the age of three, following a period of regression whereby Molly who was perfectly 'normal' lost the ability to talk and all her vocabulary disappeared, and she began to have Parkinsons like tremors in her hands. Molly later became asthmatic, epileptic and is now totally dependant on care.
However, Rett syndrome has been reversed in the lab and Reverse Rett has been at the forefront in funding clinical studies to push this amazing breakthrough through to trials in thier girls.
I not only do this for Molly but also for all the other Rett children.
What do I want from you?
Just £2, figured that if I get £2 from every one I know, I’ll smash my target, however if you want to give more and can spare it, then please do so, but for those can only spare a little, please do not be put off sponsoring me a couple of quid, every single penny raised will be gratefully received.
There is hope, please help us get there. Thankyou
