The Royal Hospital Chelsea provides a fitting home to veteran soldiers, fondly known as the Chelsea Pensioners. The Hospital is a place where veterans find comradeship and receive the very highest standards of care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my first (and almost certainly last......) marathon and will be the only time that I ask for sponsorship (I promise...) so please dig deep and donate now - every penny counts!

I have 2 designated charities - on this site you can sponsor me on behalf of the Chelsea Pensioner's Appeal. This charity supports the Royal Hospital in Chelsea which is home to 350 veteran soldiers (all over 65 years of age) who have decided to surrender their military pension to the Treasury in order to receive accommodation, food, uniform clothing, professional care and medical attention, when they need it. Funds are needed to ensure the future of the Royal Hospital, especially to modernise parts of the Pensioners’ living accommodation within the Christopher Wren designed Long Wards. Please give generously to this extremely deserving cause.

If you'd  prefer to sponsor me on behalf of "Seeing is Believing", please see the other link on the email.

Thank you on behalf of both charities - EVERY PENNY REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

So please dig deep and donate now.
