Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every person has a story to tell about the effects of cancer and MacMillan provide huge support to sufferers and people close to those being treated. I am running my first marathon to raise as much as I can for this great cause and I hope I can inspire others to do the same.

2018 will represent the year that my brother, Andrew, would have celebrated his 50th birthday. He died of a brain tumour when he was 6 years old.

I want to run the London Marathon in April, in memory of Andrew and for those who I know that have been affected by cancer.  I also want to remember my Greene King colleague Matthew Fearn, who sadly passed away last year after a brave battle with cancer. I hope what I raise will go some way to help others in the future.

My aim is to raise as much as I can to support MacMillan and would love it if you could make a donation, maybe set me some milestones to hit to help me to push hard and raise more! Whatever you give is greatly appreciated and I will do all I can to support this great cause.

Thank you in anticipation of your support and generosity.

Richard
