Stand up against homelessness. Challenge yourself to sleep out for just one night and help raise vital funds and awareness for men and women forced to do so every night.

Story

Update: Delayed until 2021.

This has been rescheduled to Friday 5th March 2021. It's now going to be a garden sleep-out.

With my son Finley and the Winklebury Scout group, I'll be taking part in the first Big Basingstoke Sleep-Out on Saturday 21st March 2020.

We'll be sleeping out for one night in Basingstoke War Memorial Park, to help raise vital funds and awareness for those forced to do so every night.

Julian House provides life changing support to over 1,400 vulnerable individuals across the South West, including those suffering from homelessness, women and children escaping domestic abuse and adults with learning difficulties. Alongside our emergency hostel, we also provide supported accommodation and training and education opportunities to help people gain confidence, re-build their lives and fulfil their potential.

The event is in partnership with local homeless charity, The Camrose Centre - Basingstoke’s own open access day centre for homeless and vulnerably housed people.
