Cancer is the most common cause of death in British men,
with 86,000 diagnosed in 2014 according to Cancer Research UK. Paul Strickland
Scanner Centre, a specialist imaging charity at Mount Vernon Hospital in
Northwood, has been fighting to improve both diagnosis and monitoring of cancer
since 1985. Survival rates have increased significantly but more needs to be
done.

That is why PSSC is launching a campaign to encourage men to
grow a moustache in return for sponsorship from family members and friends.

How your money could help

Every pound you raise in sponsorship by growing a moustache
will make a difference to the diagnosis and monitoring of cancer in men at the
centre.

£100 could help pay for a radiographer for one day, giving men access to top
quality care.

£500 could help pay for revolutionary new software that will help improve
diagnosis of prostate cancer, a big NHS priority.

£1,000 could help pay for a brand new PET-CT, MRI or CT scanner, with advanced
features that will make treatment more effective.
