Founded in 2001, The Churn Project is a community charity based in Cirencester, dedicated to reducing isolation and enhancing the wellbeing of local residents. The Churn Project operates right at the heart of the community and is often the only place people feel they can turn to for support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m trying to help raise funds 50/50 for two charities. If you could split your donation that would be much appreciated .

A chair hoist for the Cirencester open air pool, to help less abled people access the pool (see their website)  the cost is £5000, of which £1100 has been raised. Would be good to pay it off!

and also for

The Churn Project.  Who help to find practical solutions to life's issues alongside the vulnerable and marginalised people across the Cirencester community who seek support. They work with those who are lonely, at a point of transition or crisis in their lives, or experiencing mental health issues.

I intend to swim ten miles in ten days. Being 575 lengths of Cirencester pool and isn’t a given that I can do it!
I have started swimming this year and do about 40-50 lengths a day. So hopefully I will complete it!
