Story
Hi, I am swimming 5k in open water to raise money for The Wave Project, a fantastic charity that I recently started volunteering for in Bristol and North Devon.
The Wave Project offers surf therapy courses around the UK to vulnerable children and young people. In the short time I have been volunteering for them I have seen how surfing and mentoring positively affects peoples' lives.
The Wave Project is funded by donations from supporters and the surf therapy is free of charge for participants and families. Donations ensure the Wave Project can continue to help as many children and young people as possible and any amount you can give will be gratefully received and put to good use. Many thanks!
The Wave Project is an award winning UK charity that helps vulnerable children and young people improve their health and wellbeing through a combination of surfing and mentoring. With the aid of our amazing volunteers and supporters, we've worked with thousands of children over the past 10 years.
