3 years ago my wife was diagnosed with this debilitating disease. Since then we have been battling to find a way to cope with the illness (as well as others running along side ME) and generally with family life.

Holly and I have both written articles which the ME association have kindly published. We want to raise funds and awareness about this condition, including awareness for healthcare professionals. We have decided as a family to raise more money over the next few months for the ME association which will be put towards research. We desperately hope that one day there will be a new treatment option or even be close to a cure. This disease has been overlooked by the medical profession for years and until this year, when they changed, the recommended treatment for ME according to the NICE guidelines was actually harmful to patients.
