Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 29th July 2018, Richard Pollock, Paul Deller, Paul Burton, Dan Slater, Sean Mason and Steve Young will be taking part in the Prudential Ride London - Surrey 100 mile cycle to raise funds for Keech Cottage Hospice in Luton.

This challenge is in memory of Charlie Pollock, who sadly passed away on December 26th 2012 aged just five months and five days - Charlie would have celebrated his 6th birthday the week before our race.

During his illness the family lived at Keech Cottage Hospice in Luton. Keech Cottage aims to help patients enjoy the highest quality of life, while providing vital support for family and friends throughout their loved one’s illness and in their bereavement. During Charlie’s time with them the staff amazed everyone with their love, care and support. All of the charity’s services are offered free of charge, every single day of the year - and this incredible place is funded 75% by donations.

Those of you who know us will realise that this will be an enormous challenge so please give generously so we can raise as much as possible for this wonderful place. We’ll keep you updated with training progress on our facebook pages and will of course be putting up pictures of us on the day - if we all make it in one piece!

Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated and will help spur us all on with the training!
