Great South Run 2017 · 22 October 2017 ·

The Miscarriage Association is a national charity that offers support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy. We provide a staffed helpline, live chat, online support groups, helpful leaflets, and training and consultancy for health professionals and employers.

Story

In the past 6 months we have had two miscarriages, both deeply distressing bereavements. We are going to run the Great South in Portsmouth to raise money for the Miscarriage Association to help others who go through the same painful experience.

Following the second of these, we are focussing on the training and the run as a way of bringing some good and positive purpose in a difficult and dark time.
