Come and join Rich and Team CFC on this epic fully supported 220 mile ride from Manchester to Essex.

Story

This year we have put together a crack squad of riders/fundraisers to ride a route from Manchester to Essex again. It is a huge challenge, and an even bigger one to hopefully get 12people, some cancer survivors and some family of children supported by CFC all the way. It's an epic 350km Cycle ride, which we will do in one go, one day, all the way from the NW to the SE of England. Any support you can give the team would be hugely supported, we really want to help lots more children living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis all the benefits that riding a bike can provide, thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Physical activity and exercise is recognised as one of the most effective ways of improving physical and mental health and wellbeing for children being treated for cancer and beyond. CFC promote cycling as it is an excellent form of physical activity - low impact, accessible, outdoor, sociable and fun!Every year in the UK 2,400 children are diagnosed with cancer and we are passionate about helping all these families along this difficult journey. Since 2005 we have helped 8,500 children, by providing them with new lightweight bikes and specially adapted trikes to enable them to get outside, get active and have much some much needed fun!We can only continue to do this with the support of our amazing fundraisers so anything that you can raise is hugely appreciated and will make such a big difference to the lives of the children we support, thank you.
