Yes I am off again on my next big challenge for charity! Fran and I will be cycling 400 miles from Venice to Rome over 5 days over a mix of terrain, with many challenging hills along the way and choosing a a route rated as pretty tough! The first day, worryingly, is a mere 106 miles but as many of you know Fran are tough old birds and dont give in so will aim to cycle every single mile supporting eachother along the way both uphill and down!. We set off from Venice on Monday 25th September arriving in Rome on Saturday 30th September.

For those that know me you will have heard me talk about my enormous passion for working with young people. I cannot begin to explain in words how priviledged I feel when a young person puts their trust in me and allows me to be a part of their world.

Visyon are an amazing organisation who support young people struggling with mental health issues and over the past 2 years  I have offered my help as a counsellor supporting so many young people who are trying to cope with some of lifes most daunting challenges.

In our sessions together I support each young person to work through many of the issues they are facing and with them find their own coping mechanisms and resilience needed to help empower them as they enter adulthood. These challenges often include trauma, bullying, bereavement and loss, self-harm, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression to name but a few.....

Visyon is a charity supporting the mental health of children, young people and their families. Everyone in Visyon from the lovely lady who runs the Visyon cafe up to our CEO work tirelessly to support our young people in so many ways including one to one counselling, mentoring, family support and a variety of group sessions. Again I am stuck for words to describe the work everyone at Visyon does to support our young people - I wish I could video some of stuff they do for you to see and hear what I mean.

If I could raise a minimum of £1000 for Visyon that would provide around nearly 80 one-to-one counselling sessions!!! So please no donation is too small .... thank you so so much
