This is the hardest thing I've ever attempted and is taking me so far out of my comfort zone. 14 days trekking over Christmas in the harsh Nepal winter completely unaided with no sherpa, guides or group to rely on, ascending to Everest Base Camp at almost 18,000 feet (Ben Nevis is 4,500 feet).

The thought of raising money for a cause so close to my family will undoubtedly spur me on through this difficult challenge and will enable others to benefit from my endeavours.
