This year I am running the London marathon in aid of cancer research uk, 

Some of you may know that we as a family have been greatly affected by the devastation cancer can cause after losing my mother in law in 2018, after an incredibly short battle with lung cancer. Since then I’ve been searching for a way to honour not only her memory but anybody that has been affected by this awful Disease. 

I’m Running on behalf of cancer research as in our life time 1 in 2 of us will develop cancer, and their research is absolutely vital in not only increasing the detection of cancers but also the treatments and one day hopefully a cure! Thanks to these donations cancer survival has doubled in the last 40 years.
