Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·

Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

After successfully completing my first ever marathon last year and absolutely loving it, I'm going again.

Last year I raised over £2,145 for Hospice UK - a number I'd love to beat this year. And to do this, I really need your support. All donations, big or small, are really appreciated and go a long way in caring for the terminally ill in hospices throughout the UK. After having seen two of my grandparents spend their last few weeks in hospices, I know how amazing these places are and the staff that work there.

Hospice UK also seem to have decided to use me as their 'poster boy' for the 2016 run so I really need to raise a decent amount!

I have a target time of 3hr 30 this year after a 3hr 48 last year - so hoping for a significant improvement.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and for any donations.
