Maratona dles Dolomites · 6 July 2014

It supports the pupils of Bedelsford School who suffer from physical diabilities and associated learning difficulties by providing additional facilities and equipment over and above that provided by the school itself.

Story

Many thanks to everyone who sponsored me. We had perfect weather for the event and I completed in the beautiful surroundings of the Dolomites it in 6 hours and 39 minutes. Far more importantly, including Gift Aid, I've raised about £1750 for the BSA!

-----------------------------------

I'm raising money for the Bedelsford School Association (BSA). Bedelsford is a school in Kingston-upon-Thames, London, UK, for children with special educational needs and disabilities. This is the school's website if you want to know more:

http://www.bedelsford.kingston.sch.uk/

I'm combining fundraising with my love of cycling, by cycling one of the world's best 1-day cycle events, the Maratona dles Dolomites, on 6 July 2014:

I've paid all costs related to the event myself, so, apart from Just Giving's charges, all money donated will go to the BSA, which is a charity/non-profit that supports the school by paying for items that official budgets don't fund. The school only has 58 pupils, so there is only a small pool of parents to raise money. I hope that this will motivate you to give something, however small.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
