We are running in the LLHM to raise funds for our chosen charity; Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. Following the Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis of our 15 month old grandson, cousin and close friend Teddy at birth, this charity has been an incredible resource and support to him and his family.

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-limiting genetic condition that primarily affects the lungs and digestive systems due to an abnormal build-up of thick and sticky mucus in the lungs, airways and digestive system. From birth, a person with cystic fibrosis undergoes constant medical treatments and physiotherapy. Cystic fibrosis is a life-long and complex disease. There is no cure.

The funds raised will allow the charity to continue to provide vital support services and fund important research for people living with cystic fibrosis.
