❤️ 100 MILES FOR AUTISM — FOR OUR SON ❤️
This October, I am taking on the incredible challenge of completing 100 miles for autism, at F45 chelmsford on 24 th October to complete every single mile.
I am not doing this simply for the challenge. I am doing it for our beautiful 7-year-old son, and for every child and family living with autism.
Our son is non-verbal, but he has so much to say. He communicates with us in his own beautiful way, through his smile, his laughter, his expressions, his actions and the incredible little personality that makes him who he is.
He is one of the sweetest, most caring little boys you could ever meet. ❤️
But behind his beautiful smile are daily struggles that many people never see. Things that other children can take for granted can be incredibly difficult for him. Every day can bring challenges with communication, understanding the world around him and being understood by the people around him.
And yet, every single day, he keeps going.
He teaches us more about strength, patience, love and acceptance than we could ever have imagined.
So, this 100 miles is for him.
It’s for the mornings that are harder than they should be. It’s for the moments when he becomes frustrated because he can't tell us what he needs. It’s for every time he has had to work twice as hard to do something that comes naturally to others. It’s for every smile, every laugh, every achievement and every little victory that means the absolute world to us.
And it’s for the future we want for him — a world that understands autism, embraces differences and gives children like our son every opportunity to be accepted, heard and loved exactly as they are.
100 miles might be a long way, but it will never come close to the journey our son faces every single day.
❤️
Every mile is for our son. Every step is for autism awareness. And every single one is for a little boy who inspires us every day.
🧩❤️ 100 miles. One incredible reason. Our boy. ❤️🧩
