Yes, this really is our Final charity fundraising ride!

Now that we have all passed retirement age, we have decided
that we should go out on a high. Although we hope our route will have more lows than highs!

Last year, we thought that our charity cycle days were over,
after cycling from Lands’ End to John O’Groats and raising over £120,000. 

Then Richard went to a Teenage Cancer Trust meeting and realised that we had to continue our efforts to help support the charity in such desperate times for charities, as a result of the pandemic. 

So we came up with the idea of cycling to all 28 Teenage
Cancer Trust units across the UK, to show our support for the teenagers, doctors, nurses and everyone associated with this great charity.

In case you thought we had chosen something less challenging, the ride is some 100 miles longer than last year, amounting to1,160 miles. But we have allowed ourselves an extra 2 days to complete the challenge.

Our official fundraising has now started and we wanted to give advance notice that, rather than making a donation (or in addition to) you have the opportunity to cycle with us as some did last year for as much, or as little, as you want. 

Others from SRLV will be joining us along the way.

Whilst you may not be able to cycle for the entire time, you may be able to cycle part of the route. 

There are, of course, numerous variations that would allow you to spend a few days cycling with us and we are happy to arrange this with you.

We started cycling from Glasgow on Wednesday 13th October and will finish in Cardiff on Thursday 28th.
