Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Gary Moore, RIP. Peter Webb, RIP. John Fisher RIP. Ian Adams, RIP. Stuart Gill, RIP. Charles Kosman, RIP. Dave Lee, RIP.

That's a stark reality check. These are all people I have known that have died from cancer within the last four years. If only I could leave it there. However, my wife, Dianne continues her battle against secondaries from breast cancer. My sister-in-law, Elaine also continues her battle against secondaries from ovarian cancer. In addition, Theresa Moore, Peter Gibson, Jan Hope, Sheila Jones, Barry Bates and Garry Stocks all have had their battles with various forms of cancer. That's just the people I know. That's just the last five years.

I am sure most people visiting this page will have somebody they know or have known who has suffered from cancer. One in three of us will get cancer.

I have already run the London 10k (on 8th July) for this cause. On 23rd September, I shall run the Tonbridge Half Marathon.

Many people assume that MacMillan are only there at the end. In fact, they are there to support throughout and do a fantastic job. Please therefore support me doing this run. Every pound makes a difference.
