St Joseph's Pastoral Centre (SJPC) exists to support and help people with learning difficulties and their families.  It seeks to develop every aspect of humanity: physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. SJPC is open to anyone who has a learning difficulty and who requires its help regardless of race, faith, background, culture, or age. To enable those with learning difficulties to achieve their potential it aims to educate society and transform attitudes.

In order to raise valuable funds for St Joseph's so that it may fulfil these worthwhile ideals I have 'volunteered' to participate in the British 10k London Run on July 6th 2008. [Update: I managed to get round in 85 mins - somewhat slower than the winner but he's not 70!]  So please sponsor me now!
