Boost Charitable Trust is a grant giving charity set up in 2005. Our mission is to fund and support inspiring programmes which help improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled through the power of sport. We focus on helping people in five main areas: physical and learning disabilities, financial hardship, mental health, social exclusion and medical research and relief.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I made it; 100 miles of Hampshire's finest hills with a total climb of 8,400 feet, time 8hrs 18min, which included a clean up by a great team from St John's Ambulance and gouging on cake at the feed stations. (Photographs in due course)

The first challenge was the cramp which hit after 30 miles, followed by a comical looking fall when clipped in and being unable to take avoiding action as we arrived at a congested T junction. The weather was excellent and the scenery spectacular, whhich proved a welcome distraction but above all your support kept me going.

Having done this I have huge admiration for those who do 5 days of this such as the Help for Heroes rides.

Thank you for all your incredibly generous support I am now in spitting distance of the target, which I have committed to match. If you haven't committed it's not too late. Boost  will be very grateful for all donations.

Many many thanks

Richard
