Hello
As many of you are aware, our lovely Dad lost his life in a tragic walking accident in Scotland. He slipped on some wet snow and ice and fell a considerable distance. The Arrochar Mountain Rescue team we’re called out that night to search for him as he was over due returning to our Mum. They worked tirelessly in harsh conditions putting themselves in danger. They found our Dads body and evacuated him off the mountain with great care and respect.
As a family we will never be able to thank them enough for the job they do and what they did for us that night. However, raising the team some money so they can continue to help others in need will make us feel a bit better.
We also want to make our Dad proud. This race is just the beginning, we plan to do many other challenges for him, for ourselves and for charity.
