<p><span style="color: #008000;">A big 'thank you' to everyone that sponsered me to run on behalf of E.L.H.A.P, together we have raised a very meaningful amount. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">I finished the race in 4:25, i found the last 6 miles very tough, i planned to get to 20miles in 3 hours to give myself a chance, i got there in 3:04 but then struggled for the last 6 uphill miles! </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;"> On Sunday 7th November i am running the New York Marathon for a charity called E.L.H.A.P. East London Handicapped Adventure Playground. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">E.L.H.A.P is an adventure playground designed and built for children & young adults with both mental and physical disabilities. E.L.H.A.P is an amazing charity which is very close me, it provides a safe,secure and stimulating environment which i have seen with my own eyes on many occasions to young people way less fortunate than ourselves. <p><span style="color: #008000;">E.L.H.A.P is funded almost entirely from donation and as an example of where your money goes:</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">50stg/80usd helps pay for a special outing for upto 20 disabled children</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">100stg//160usd pays for 4 disabled children to attend E.L.H.A.P for a whole day in a playscheme</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">500stg/800usd pays for 4 disabled children to attend for a whole week.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">I am aiming to finish the marathon in under 4 hours and i have done lots of training so fingers crossed and thankl you all very much, regards Richard Giles.</span></p>
