RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews can be called out anytime of the day or night to go in aid of those in distress. As a nod of recognition to these brave and selfless volunteers I'm answering the Mayday call and challenging myself to run a mile every hour for 24 hours, and raise valuable funds that will help RNLI lifesavers be ready to face the busiest summer season yet! If I reach my fundraising target of £500 I will run every mile in full RNLI crew kit. No sleep, heavy kit and 24 miles, now that's a challenge!
