I'm raising money to help St Swithuns School (Winchester) fund the purchase of a second-hand ambulance, fill it with medical supplies and drive it out to Ukraine to help. They are working in partnership with a not for profit organisation, Make A Difference UA. Each ambulance filled with supplies and delivered costs £5,000.
I am running a half marathon on Saturday, by far the furthest I have ever run and quite a distance for someone with no cartilage in one knee and a re-constructed ACL in the other! If you could donate to help, it would make each step hurt a little less. I will also match £ for £ every donation to get us to the target.
Any money raised that takes the total over £5,000 will be donated to the Red Cross Ukrainian appeal.....unless we raise enough for a second ambulance!
