Story
Three novice cyclists and Sam take on the hilly Cotswolds for this year's Ride for Ryder Sportive (with absolutely zero training - such fools).
We're doing this to raise money for Sue Ryder's Leckhampton Court Hospice where our mum and wife, Sheila Richards, is being cared for. This is to thank Leckhampton Court, the amazing nurses, doctors, staff and volunteers, for all of the care, love and support they have given to us all, and to help them continue their brilliant work.
Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court supports people who are living with a terminal illness, a neurological condition or who have lost someone. They're there through the most difficult times, when people need it.
£21 could fund an hour of care, £145 could pay for a hospice nurse for a day.
We're aiming to raise £1,500 in a week but hey, if we reach £10,000 (the cost to run the hospice for one day), we will cycle dressed as penguins (mum's favourite animal 🤩) !
