Richards Gray have teamed up with an Ethiopian based charity, SUNARMA (Sustainable and Natural Resource Management Association) to raise over £150,000 to fund a community based tourism project in an area North-East of the Capital, Addis Ababa.
The project will involve assisting the struggling communities in the Wof Washa forest region to develop accommodation sites in and around the forest for visiting tourists. These community based tourism ventures will be self sustaining and provide an income for the communities that goes beyond aid, providing employment and dignity for many years and generations to come.
By providing funds for this initiative, you will be assisting the communities of Wof Washa to improve their livelihoods, raise their incomes and to facilitate their freedom from a dependency trap.
