Story

With sadness beyond words Richard lost his Herculean battle with Cancer on Monday 27th April. The current covid crisis prevents us from having the huge send off that we all know that he would have had and rest assured that we will hold a memorial service befitting and have that celebration of his life when we are all released from lockdown!

His passing was peaceful and at home thanks to Sue Ryder and it is Maxine's wish that there are no flowers which Richard being Richard would consider a waste of money anyway and Maxine would much rather that in lieu donations are made to the wonderful Sue Ryder in Leckhampton so that others may benefit from the same care and compassion that was given to Richard and the family.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
