Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
For the third year running we are raising money in memory of Richie, my best friend and husband who suffered a short but devastating illness in 2012. He was a great husband, brilliant Dad to his 2 young daughters, a loving son and brother, one of the lads, a sportsman, a gentleman and a friend to SO many. Richie was only 42 when he died which seems so unfair as he loved life and lived it to the full every day. He had a passion for any sport and was a life-long supporter of QPR.
Our daughter Dani was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes so Richie had planned to run the 2012 Plymouth Half-Marathon in aid of JDRF but it wasn't to be, and so it seems fitting that his work mates, friends and me are running the Plymouth 10K again for him instead. Keep on running Richie!
Once again we will be running in shirts of Richie's favourite team QPR and raising money for JDRF who do excellent work researching Juvenile Diabetes.
