Patricia Lawlor is raising money for LionAid

Richmond Park Lion Walk · 15 August 2021

LionAid is a small but highly effective charity, based in the UK, focused mainly but not exclusively on the conservation of lions, which are facing catastrophic declines in the wild. We believe that there are now only five viable lion populations left in Africa and one small population in India.

Story

We will be walking over 10 Km to represent the last estimated 10,000 lion's left in the wild. Join us at Richmond Park on 15th August, to make a difference to their survival and their future! To register email London@lionaid.org Get behind LionAid and help us stop the continued population decline of Africa’s majestic lion. Richmond Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and a National Nature reserve. Along with having some beautiful views, along with rare species of fauna and flora https://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/richmond-park Lions are being persecuted and will become extinct if we don’t come together and act fast. Strong, fearless, majestic, magnificent, iconic, yet human/wildlife conflict, trophy hunting and the wildlife trade in body parts, are some of the continued pressures on this species. Stand by us and support this amazing fundraising opportunity to make a difference.
